'OCTO' The Eight Function Radio Controlled Switch SystemTM is driven directly from the Receiver.
The Switcher can be used as a 8-way latching switcher from one RC channel to control lights, sound effects, small motors or virtually any electrical dc device up to 0.5 amps consumption. The 'OCTO' works on 27Mhz or 40Mhz or 2.4Ghz Radio Control Systems.
The unit switching is achieved by 'jabbing' the Transmitter stick to the left full travel and then letting it spring back to centre position.
One 'jab' will switch ON function one - Two 'jabs' will switch ON function two and so on upto the Eighth function. It is not necessary to have to go from function switch one to function switch eight in sequence. Simply 'jab' the number of jabs equal to the function switch in any order that you wish at any time.
To switch any function off in any order at any time - simply note the function number that you wish to switch off and then jab to the right the required number of jabs relating to that function switch.
This unit can be connected into any Channel - but is best in either a spare channel or a channel such as the Rudder channel. The unit allows a servo to be connected into the unit so the servo will work see through to the switching application.
This unit will not work on a Two way -Toggle Switch operated channel on the Transmitter.
